SERVICES

All services can be provided in person or virtually via telehealth.

At this time, in-person sessions are being offered. If you have tested positive for or think you have been exposed to COVID-19, the flu, or other illness, or if you or anyone in your home hasn’t felt well, please call your clinician to reschedule your appointment. Thank you for not putting our clinicians or other clients at risk.

INDIVIDUAL

As we go through life trying to meet our own needs, the needs of family members, expectations at work, etc, we sometimes feel overwhelmed. This is often because we receive mixed messages from without and within. We can help you sort out those mixed messages, clarifying and organizing the different parts within yourself that cause internal disruption and pain. There is hope for you.

COUPLES

Our society sends constant messages that everything is disposable. Often, that includes people in relationships. It may seem easier to walk away than to do the work it takes to repair the relationship, but when you love someone and have invested much of your life in them, there’s usually something inside you that makes you want to stay. The science of EFT (the type of therapy used at Believe) “views human beings as innately relational, social and wired for intimate bonding with others.”* We will help you tap into that part of you that wants to stay and find words to share that with each other. There is hope for your relationship.

FAMILY

We live in a time where families are facing more challenges than ever before. Human nature is to try to vilify the family member who is acting out the most, but the family is a unit that sinks or swims together. We work with the member who’s struggling, but we also bring in the other family members to help the whole family untangle the knots that have developed in their relationships. We need each other now more than ever. There is hope for your family.

INTENSIVE SESSIONS

Traditional therapy sessions are just under one hour, usually once a week, and last until the client feels they have completed their goal. Intensive sessions, for clients who are willing to put in the work, can really jump start therapy and can often provide results much more quickly. As always, client progress is greatly determined by the severity of the situation and how deep the client is willing to go; however, many clients see very positive results using this type of therapy.

Intensive sessions last from a minimum of 2 hours up to a maximum of 6 hours. They are customized to fit the client’s need. Insurance companies do not cover the cost of intensives, but many clients find that the benefits they receive are worth paying the out of pocket expense.

Intensive services require advance scheduling. This type of session is ideal for those wanting to kick start their therapy progress, those traveling from long distances, or those whose schedules prohibit traditional therapy sessions. They are great for couples or caregivers (therapists, ministers, etc).

LIFE COACHING

Life coaching is NOT the same as counseling or therapy, but can be very beneficial to clients who can use some help examining their current reality and making decisions needed to reach that next level or take that next step.

Counseling or therapy helps you explore mental health issues, often resulting from trauma. A trained therapist can offer you treatment/therapy that leads to healing.

A life coach helps you examine existing thought processes and decisions, then provides the support, motivation, accountability, and encouragement to move forward with specific goals and action plans.
